Yoga Courtesies

  • Arrive 15 minutes early to class to settle in and warm up.

  • Please sign in at the front desk

  • Remember to turn your cell phone off completely before class.

  • Kindly wear clothing that enables the instructor to see your joints, i.e. shorts or tights and a short or long-sleeved T-shirt.  Tie back long hair.

  • It is best to practise yoga on an empty stomach; give yourself a food reward AFTER class!

  • Let the teacher know if you have any injuries or concerns BEFORE class so poses can be adjusted if needed.

  • Bring a towel to cover equipment such as blankets and bolsters.

  • Please do not wear heavy scents to class as many folks are allergic.

  • Clean feet with spray and cloth provided before class and wipe mats after class.

  • If you are a smoker, kindly refrain from smoking one hour before class.
